Seller Education: How to Create Listings on LabnetXL

    Learn how to use the Standard Value tab to create accurate listings in the Listing tab and upload to LabnetXL.

    Introduction

    Welcome to the LabnetXL Seller Education page! This guide will help you create diamond listings using the provided Standard_Inventory_Template.xlsx file. The Standard Value tab contains standardized values for key fields, which you must use to ensure your listings in the Listing tab are accurate and compliant. Once completed, you can upload the Excel file to the LabnetXL platform at www.labnetxl.com.

    Step-by-Step Guide to Creating Listings

    Step 1: Download the Excel Template

    Download the Standard_Inventory_Template.xlsx file provided by LabnetXL. This file contains two key tabs:

    • Listing: Where you enter details for each diamond you want to list.
    • Standard Value: Contains standardized values for fields like Shape, Clarity, Color, etc., to ensure consistency.

    Step 2: Understand the Standard Value Tab

    The Standard Value tab provides a reference for acceptable values for key fields in the Listing tab. You must use these values to ensure your listings are valid. Below are the fields and their standardized options:

    Shape

    Choose from: Round, Pear, Oval, Marquise, Heart, Radiant, Princess, Emerald, Asscher, Sq. Emerald, Cushion (All), Cushion Brilliant, Baguette, European Cut, Old Miner, and more.

    Clarity

    Options: FL, IF, VVS1, VVS2, VS1, VS2, SI1, SI2, SI3, I1, I2, I3.

    Fancy Color

    Examples: Black, Brown, Champagne, Chameleon, Green, Purple, Orange, Violet, Gray, Yellow, Pink, Blue, Red, Other.

    Fancy Color Overtone

    Examples: Brownish, Champagne, Greenish, Purplish, Orangey, Grayish, Yellowish, Pinkish, Bluish, Reddish, Other.

    Color

    Standard grades: D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z, Other.

    Fluorescence

    Options: None, Faint/Slight, Medium, Strong, Very Strong.

    Cut, Symmetry, Polish

    Options: Ideal, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor.

    Fancy Color Intensity

    Options: Faint, Very Light, Fancy Light, Light, Fancy, Fancy Intense, Fancy Deep, Dark Fancy, Other.

    Laboratory

    Examples: GIA, HRD, IGI, AGS, CGL, GCAL, GII, GSI, NGTC, PGS, RAP, SGL, NONE.

    Note: Always refer to the Standard Value tab for the complete list of options. Using values outside this list may cause your listing to be rejected.

    Step 3: Fill the Listing Tab

    In the Listing tab, enter the details for each diamond. Use the values from the Standard Value tab for fields like Shape, Clarity, Fancy Color, etc. Below is a description of key fields:

    • Stock_ID: Unique identifier for your diamond (e.g., SD0002-S10).
    • Shape: Select from Standard Value tab (e.g., Heart, Round, Princess).
    • Carat: Weight of the diamond (e.g., 3.37).
    • Color: Select from Standard Value tab (e.g., D, E, F).
    • Clarity: Select from Standard Value tab (e.g., IF, VVS1, VS1).
    • Cut, Polish, Symmetry: Select from Standard Value tab (e.g., Excellent, Very Good).
    • Fluorescence: Select from Standard Value tab (e.g., None, Faint, Medium).
    • Laboratory: Select from Standard Value tab (e.g., GIA, HRD, IGI).
    • Fancy Color, Fancy Color Intensity, Fancy Color Overtone: Select from Standard Value tab (e.g., Yellow, Fancy Vivid, Blue).
    • Price_Per_Carat, Total_Price: Enter in EUR (e.g., EUR 364.18, EUR 1,824.55).
    • Seller_Name, Seller_Company, Seller_Location, Seller_Phone, Seller_WhatsApp, Seller_Email: Your contact details.
    • Video_URL, Image_URL, Certificate_URL: Provide valid URLs for media and certification.

    Example:

    For a 3.37-carat Heart-shaped diamond, you might enter:

    • Stock_ID: SD0002-S10
    • Shape: Heart
    • Carat: 3.37
    • Color: E
    • Clarity: IF
    • Fancy Color: Yellow
    • Fancy Color Intensity: Fancy Vivid
    • Fancy Color Overtone: Blue
    • Laboratory: GIA

    Step 4: Validate Your Listings

    Before uploading, ensure:

    • All required fields in the Listing tab are filled.
    • Values match those in the Standard Value tab (e.g., Shape, Clarity, Color).
    • Carat weights, prices, and measurements are accurate.
    • URLs for Video, Image, and Certificate are valid and accessible.

    Step 5: Upload to LabnetXL

    Once your listings are complete and validated:

    1. Visit www.labnetxl.com.
    2. Log in to your LabnetXL seller account (or create one if you haven't already).
    3. Navigate to the "Upload Inventory" section.
    4. Download the Standard_Inventory_Template.xlsx, complete it with your listing, and upload it.
    5. Wait for confirmation from LabnetXL. You'll be notified if there are any issues with your listings.
